THE EXILES is now on its way. This soon-to-be-released Crescent Moon expansion will shift the base game’s premise on its head and tell the tale of young outcasts crawling their way out of the dissonant world of The Below.
You can expect new character options, travel across a pointcrawl map, combat mechanics, and a lot of angsty queer kids wielding giant swords.
A free playkit with everything you need to get started will be releasing very soon—and along it will also come a crowdfunding campaign to fund a physical, extended release. You can sign up now to the campaign’s main hub, Kickstarter, and get notified once the project goes live. Alternatively, subscribe to this newsletter if you haven’t already and you’ll also get an email once everyone is up and running. We’re working hard to offer alternative funding options, so stay tuned!

I’ve also been sharing previews and snippets of the development on Patreon. Right now there’s an in-progress draft of the playkit available, and (hopefully) a couple more things on the way. Our store continues to be open! As we work on new merch for a Spring update, the ember sweatshirts came in. They’re so cute! Very soft, much colorful.
